Seabreeze Cafe, wonderful place, staff is so friendly and welcoming. They treat you like you are part of their family and have been knowing you for years. I highly recommend anyone passing through the area to stop by and enjoy the hospitality. The food was amazing as well, had seafood, was as fresh as if you just took it off the hook, it was delicious!!!

Keep trucking down. There's a beautiful place to camp in Carabella west or further east has to be safer. This is seriously a park to skip.

I don't know how this place got the good reviews it has. It's just a big, junky yard with old, delapitated RVs people squat in. There are much nicer places down the road a few miles.

My husband and I enjoyed our 2night stay in Panacea. The site was quiet and peaceful. Dallas the owner was very helpful and suggested that we go to Wahulla Springs State Park, and we did. It was a beautiful area with plenty of wildlife, we took the boat tour up the river and I saw Manatee for the first time. There were many varities of birds, also turtles and baby alligators. Well worth the $6 park entry and $8 to ride the boat.

My interracial family and i stayed at this park. The owner is a very nice gentleman and seemed to have no problem that we were a white and black family. So to the earlier post there is no race issues here at all. We stayed in our 1988 motorhome and used our pa discount. Very quite and close to natural beauty everywhere. Great place to stop by and spend a few days. :)

The campsite also had a restaurant that was very good , we had breakfast both mornings.

Tried stopping here on our way home from evacuating from Hurricane Irma. Pulled up in a Mercedes SUV on the side of the building. My mother and family were a few miles behind us in the camper. My three year old had to use the bathroom. Figured I'd go inside and get our site paid for and use the restroom when I came across an extremely overweight, slob of a man who would not even acknowledge whether or not they had a bathroom without full disclosure of what type of camper we were bringing, what year and color it was, whether or not it had central or fan ac. I asked him if that made a difference because I didn't really know the year it's not my camper. (it's a 2012 - now I know) and he stated to me yes, because he doesn't allow "junk campers" to "live" there. My three year old still had to pee so I left his office and went outside to find my husband in our SUV to go find a bathroom for her when he chased me out the door asking if I was offended. When I replied yes, he had a very big attitude and told me good luck finding a place in that area that was safe for my kids because he screens everyone who "lives" there. As I was getting in the car, my husband (African American) stated he drove around the park and got dirty looks and saw multiple confederate flags flying on the property. That's when we realized this wasn't a safe place for my family to camp. I wasn't sure if he was vetting me or getting ready to either rob or slaughter my family for dinner with the questions he was asking. We have an extremely nice camper worth over $70,000 with solar panels attached to the outside roof. Don't stay here.
